Kuala Lumpur: Bank Negara Malaysia has established a Financial Technology Enabler Group (FTEG), which will be responsible for formulating and enhancing regulatory policies to facilitate the adoption of technological innovations in the Malaysian financial services industry.The FTEG is part of the central bank's commitment to supporting innovations that will improve the quality, efficiency and accessibility of financial services in Malaysia, it said in a statement.It is a cross functional group and will be led by the bank's Director of the Financial Sector Development Department, Aznan Abdul Aziz.
