Field 30pc young candidates: DAP branches

Kota Kinabalu: Two Sabah DAP branches have passed a resolution to seek the party's leadership to field 30 per cent of candidates from among their young members in the next general election. The resolution passed by DAP Api-Api and Bandaraya branches was adopted during a joint annual general meeting on Sunday. The meeting attended mostly by the young members of the party saw no change to the leadership of both branches.

DAP Likas Assemblyman cum Sabah DAP Secretary Junz Wong is chairman of Api-Api while the party's political education director Nicholas Chak remained as Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu chairman. Wong and Chak in their address noted party branches should now gear up for the upcoming election and called on members to focus on their election observers training.
