FPAM appoints new president

Kuala Lumpur: The Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) has appointed Ismitz Matthew De Alwis as its President, effective July 21, 2016, replacing Sharifatul Hanizah Said Ali who stepped down due to personal reasons. "De Alwis will continue the work to lead FPAM's vision and promote excellence in financial planning for the benefit of all Malaysians.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

"He will also continue establishing the global Certified Financial Planner (CFP) mark as the leading symbol of excellence for personal financial planning in Malaysia," it said in a statement.

FPAM is an affiliate member of the Financial Planning Standards Board, an international body that owns and oversees the development of the CFP mark and certification programme, worldwide. – Bernama
