Kuala Lumpur: The Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) has appointed Ismitz Matthew De Alwis as its President, effective July 21, 2016, replacing Sharifatul Hanizah Said Ali who stepped down due to personal reasons. "De Alwis will continue the work to lead FPAM's vision and promote excellence in financial planning for the benefit of all Malaysians.

"He will also continue establishing the global Certified Financial Planner (CFP) mark as the leading symbol of excellence for personal financial planning in Malaysia," it said in a statement.
