Sabah Mara to add automotive course

Tenom: Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) Chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa said he agreed that an automotive course must be offered at the Pusat Giatmara here to add to the existing skills courses namely sewing and building construction.He said the request for the automotive course made by Tenom Umno Youth will be considered because it is popular among youths in the district."After considering its necessities and taking into account the future of our youths, the course would definitely enable our young people here to engage in the field that would guarantee their future," he said.

Annuar said this at the Majlis Ramah Mesra with Giatmara trainees and staff here, Sunday.At the same time, Annuar approved an allocation of RM50,000 to continue the construction of a Giatmara building which was abandoned due to technical problems years ago.He said the allocation is meant to buy the needed materials to construct the building while the finishing will be done by the Giatmara trainees themselves.Annuar also said he will forward the proposal to build a Mara College in the interior to the relevant ministry for consideration.
