PETALING JAYA: Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan (pic) told the BBC that although Malaysian Official 1 (MO1) is Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak, he was not explicitly named because he was not involved in the 1MDB saga."I've said it openly. Obviously if you read the documents, it is the Prime Minister," Abdul Rahman said."But I have also said, why didn't the United States Department of Justice (DoJ) name him by his proper name.

In July, the DoJ filed a civil complaint to seize assets in the United States allegedly acquired with misappropriated funds from 1MDB.
