Malaysia Airlines offers fare deal to Hong Kong

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) is offering a fare deal for its economy and business class in conjunction with the introduction of the Airbus 330 on the Kuala Lumpur-Hong Kong route.The all-in return economy class fare is RM788 and for business class, RM2,088. In a statement yesterday, MAB said the special promotion starts from Oct. 26 until Oct 31, for travel from Jan 1, 2017 and prior to the Chinese lunar new year.

The A330 will operate as MH72 and MH73. The first flight (MH72) out of Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong departs at 8.40 am, arriving at 12.30 pm,.The return flight, MH73, departs Hong Kong at 2.50 pm and arrives Kuala Lumpur at 6.55 pm.Chief Executive Officer Peter Bellew said by the end of the first quarter 2017, MAB will be the only airline to provide the fully flat business class seat on a wide body aircraft for this sector."Our new business class seat is already a hit amongst our guests. We want to share this fantastic experience with passengers on the Hong Kong route, where more of our business travelers can benefit from our super facilities.

Malaysia Airlines flies thrice daily to Hong Kong and the route is currently serviced by the B737-800 and upgauging will take effect from Jan 1, 2017 until further notice. – Bernama
