Perodua bags Best Child Occupant Protection award

Kota Kinabalu: Perodua received the Best Child Occupant Protection (COP) award for small family car category and Best Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) for small family car category at the Asean NCAP Grand Prix Awards, on Tuesday.Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said the awards are a recognition to their efforts to always place their customers' safety and comfort in their products.The Perodua Bezza 1.3L Advance variant is equipped with a Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) which is a safety function that detects and reduces skidding hence allowing the driver to maintain stability while driving.

This variant also comes with Traction Control (TRC) and Brake Assist (BA) which allows the driver to maintain traction on a slippery road as well as the Hill Start Assist (HSA) that prevents the car from rolling back on slopes when the brake is released, giving the driver time to switch to the accelerator pedal.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
