Johan, Gloria appointed PIDM directors

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation (PIDM) has appointed Johan Mahmood Merican and Gloria Goh to its board of directors.In a statement, PIDM said the appointments, for a three-year term, followed the retirement of two board members, Datuk Seri Dr Rahamat Bivi Yusoff and George Anthony David Dass.PIDM Chairman Tan Sri Dr Abdul Samad Alias said Johan and Goh's extensive professional experiences and expertise in their respective fields would bring insightful perspectives to the board.

Johan is currently the Deputy Director-General (Human Capital) of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), a post he has held since June 2016. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Talent Corporation Malaysia Bhd.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Meanwhile, Goh is a retired Partner of Ernst & Young Malaysia, as well as a former Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Asean Federation of Accountants. She is also a past president of the Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA) Malaysia Chapter and currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Melbourne, Australia. – Bernama
