State Education Director Datuk Maimunah Suhaibul said the new block was built in December 2015, three years after the old building was destroyed by fire.
She said the new block houses the headmaster's office, a meeting room, a teachers' room and a resource centre, among others.
SK Tun Fuad has 153 students, 20 teachers and four non-teaching staff.
Maimunah admitted, however, that the construction of the new block experienced a bit of delay due to some technical issues and advised the school as well as the District Education Office to immediately report if they find any structural flaws.
"They must report to the contractor so that repair works can be done immediately," she said.
She also reminded all concerned to ensure that all the school properties are always in safe hands. - Ibrahim Tabir
