Hundreds attend funeral service

HUNDREDS of parishioners, mainly village folks, attended the funeral service of the late Brother Ben at the St Pius X Church, Bundu Tuhan.They mourned the loss, weeping openly and bade farewell with roses.

A group of ladies wore T-shirts bearing the photo of the Mill Hill Brother.

According to them, the entire parish was waiting for him to come back only to learn that he had been called by the Lord.

Mass was said by Rev Father Michael Modoit, the Rector of St Pius X Church, together with four other priests (2 from Kota Kinabalu, 1 from Kota Belud and 1 from Ranau).
