Four Sabah karatekas to represent M'sia

Kota Kinabalu: Four Sabahans will don national colours at the South East Asia Karate Federation (SEAKF) Karate Championship 2017 in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia this week.Ivan Charles, Cairola Wong, Ar Nickazmie Ahmad and Bukit Jalil-based Richal Mattan will depart together with other members of the contingent for the competition venue today (Wednesday).Sabah Karate Association Secretary General Julian Chin said on Tuesday that Ivan (kumite Cadet below 70kg), Cairola (kumite junior below 59kg), Ar Nickazmie (kumite Under-21 below 75kg) and Richal (junior below 55kg) have been undergoing training in Bukit Jalil for the past few days.
