Top cash prizes await winners

Kota Kinabalu: Top cash prizes await the winners in this year's KDCA Tug Of War championship.The six-member team competition organised by Sabah Sports Board and sponsored by Warisan Harta Sdn Bhd offer RM4,000 for the men's champion with RM2,000 for the runner-up and RM1,000 each for the losing semi-finalists.

The women champion will get RM1,600, runner-up RM1,100 and RM650 each for the losing semi-finalists.

It is limited to 20 teams only, and so far 17 teams for the men category have confirmed their participation and seven for the women.

The weigh-in session for the men team of 525kg, and the women team with unlimited weight will take place on May 30 at 7.30pm.
