Published on: Wednesday, September 12, 2018

Kota Kinabalu: CHIEF Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic) assured that a thorough investigation will be carried out into Tuesday morning's kidnapping incident.

"I have requested for further action to be taken and we will help both victims although they are not locals.

"We will tighten security in terms of surveillance, patrolling and information intelligence, and find out where the victims are the best we can. Even though they are not Malaysians, they were caught in our boundary, so we must protect them," he said.
