Cops raid house of Najib's mother
Kuala Lumpur: Police have raided the residence of the mother of Najib Razak, as authorities tighten the noose against the former prime minister amid a string of fresh charges Thursday.It is understood that the raid in Tun Rahah Mohamed Noah's house in Jalan Eaton here was related to the ongoing investigations into the former leader's role in 1MDB.

When contacted, Najib's lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah confirmed the raid, adding that police took nothing from the house.
