100 hulksters expected for Mr Borneo

Kota Kinabalu: Mr Borneo 2018 Bodybuilding and Physique Championship 2018 is set to take place at the Kadazan Cultural Village open stage at Hongkod Koisan KDCA in Penampang, this Sunday.Organising chairman and Sabah Bodybuilding Association president Joannes Stanelous said their preparation is on track and expect some 100 athletes to participate."Everything is in place and we are ready to organise the championship. At the previous meet in Ranau, it attracted more than 70 bodybuilders but this time around, we are looking at 100 athletes.

"Apart from Brunei, Sarawak, Labuan and Sabah, we have also invited bodybuilders from the Armed Forces, Police as well as Fire and Rescue Department," he added.Two categories will be staged and for the novice category, Joannes said there will be three weight divisions, 60kg and below, 60kg-70kg, and 70kg and above while two for athletics physique, 170cm and below and 170cm and above.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
