MAHB: No communications service disruption at KLIA

Selangor: SEPANG: The planned communications infrastructure upgrade at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which started on Jan 1, have not caused any communications service disruption at both terminals, said Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB).MAHB in a statement on Monday said the upgrading process had been smooth since it started and mitigation measures put in place during the period had been successful in ensuring that the availability of cellular and leased lines within the passenger and cargo terminals, respectively, remained at normal levels. "We are also pleased to note that, thus far, there have been no complaints from all stakeholders such as the public, airlines, tenants, and telecommunication companies on any communication service disruption at the airport," it said.
