IMM13 holder slashed to death

Kota Kinabalu: A 17-year-old IMM13 holder was slashed to death by two people, believed to be Indonesians, at Inanam township, Tuesday.Rajik Dollah, a brick layer, died of multiple slash wounds about 10 feet from the police pondok, behind the Milemewa Superstore, at 7.30pm.

Deputy City Police Chief Supt. Wong Chong Fooi said Rajik went to a coffee shop to look for the Indonesians who were having a drink.

Rajik asked the two which gang they belonged and the duo, joined by several others, went after him. He had six slash wounds on his head and back, besides three stab wounds on the face from a Samurai sword and parang.

The murder weapons were found in a mini bus parked by the roadside. Two mini buses (one 25-seater and the other a 12-seater) plying the Menggatal-KKroute were also seized.

At the murder scene were District Crime Officer Supt Awang Besar Awang Dullah, Investigating Officer ASP Azizol Mangsor, Chief Insp. Azahari Zakaria, a forensic team and the dog unit.

No suspects have been arrested yet but several witnesses have come forward. Rajik's mother Dina, 38, said her son left the house at 5.30pm after his father-in-law asked him to look for workers. Rajik married four months ago.
