Kota Kinabalu: Thirty-five people are still warded for the influenza A (H1N1) in hospitals throughout Sabah. However, a statement by the Cabinet Committee on H1N1 here, Tuesday, said no new schools have been closed. The statement also noted Health Director-General, Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican's lament that many patients with the virus were not cooperating to stop the spread of the flu strain.

He advised those with influenza-like illness (ILI) against holidaying or visiting public places such as shopping centres, going to work or school, or travelling by public transport. People who have to go out due to important appointments should always wear surgical masks and practise self-hygiene.
