Sandakan: Hendro Lee from Penampang has been crowned as Mr Sabah 2011 'best of the best' at the State bodybuilding championship which was held at the Sandakan community hall last weekend.The champion was also the winner in the welterweight category after defeating Yampil Garai of PDRM and third place Urbanus Hendrikus from Tawau.
Jaunah Leman from Sandakan won the best posing category while Putatan's Abdul Mat Sali won the best bodybuilder category.
The junior title was clinched by Hassan Muradin from Papar while Keningau's duo, Shamsul Solomon and Atalas Abidin settled for second and third place respectively.
Yakon Mengkabong of Kota Kinabalu took the top prize in the master category while second place went to Mastali Galimon also from Kota Kinabalu. Third place went to Keningau's Alid Tony.
Kota Kinabalu's pair Oswald Jebing and Julio Matiwes finished first and second in the light flyweight (55kg and above) while Sandakan's Reno Salleh came third.
The flyweight (55.5kg-60kg) title went to Abdul Mat Sali from Putatan, second place was Jaini Tukang from Beaufort and Japar Haji Abdullah (PDRM).
Agustine Ekin of Beaufort took the bantamweight title and Paijan Upau from Sandakan in second place and third place went to Wickson Kihog from Kota Kinabalu.
The lightweight winner was Kasmin Tionso from PDRM, Robin Stephanus from Kota Kinabalu won second place while Herman Yunis from Sandakan took the third spot.
Jauneh Leman of Sandakan won the light middleweight title ahead of second place George Jailis from Tambunan and Saiful Omar from PDRM.
PDRM's Hassan Lahimih was the winner in the middleweight category and second place went to Mohd Edward Pena from Putatan and third place was Johnny Said.
The light heavyweight was won by PDRM's Mohd Asraf, second place went to Mohd Azlan Daud and third Zakariah Hussin.
Tawau's Alex Chang was the heavyweight champion and Sham Mahmud from Sandakan came second while third went to Mohd Masamba from Lahad Datu.
