Keningau: Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) Sook Youth Chief, Khairin Bador, urged Pekida Sabah Chairman, Datu Akjan Ali Muhammad, to resign from his post.He said Akjan's objection to the establishment of a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on illegal immigrants in the Sabah was as though he was supporting those responsible in issuing MyKads to foreigners through fraudulent means. He said PBRS Youth would not object to foreigners obtaining the MyKad through the proper procedure, but was strongly against the "Project IC."

The RCI, he said, was aimed at clearing confusion and based on the calls by the people of Sabah who were worried about the increasing presence of foreigners in the State. The setting up of the RCI would not hurt foreigners who had obtained the MyKad legally, unless they acquired it through the "Projek IC", he said.
