Don't depend too much on elite players, says Zolkples

Kuala Lumpur: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) must reduce its dependence on elite players if badminton in the country was to develop further said National Sports Council (NSC) director-general Datuk Zolkples Embong.He said BAM were overly depending on world number one Datuk Lee Chong Wei in every international tournament participated by the Malaysian team and does not expose back up players in international competitions."I had always stated that we should not be depending on elite players and to me the only elite player in the country is only Datuk Lee Chong Wei.
