Sandakan: Marine Operation Force (MOF) personnel arrested a foreigner and seized a total of RM140, 000 worth of mangrove bark during an operation in Beluran, here, early Wednesday.Sabah MOF chief, ACP Abdul Manaf Othman said they also detained a vessel when they carried out their 'Ops Pensura' at 4.15am.According to him, the skipper and several crew members on board the vessel fled into the darkness, leaving behind the 45 year-old suspect and vessel laden with seven tons of mangrove bark.
