Kota Kinabalu: AirAsia remains a preferred choice as it raked in about RM70,000 in its three-day exclusive fare roadshow at the 1Borneo Hypermall here. Its Sabah Travel and Service Centre Head of Operations, Lesley Cynthia Godfrey, said the airline sold around 250 seats mostly to Kuala Lumpur and Tawau.

"For the roadshow AirAsia is offering a 20 per cent discount on all routes.

Most travellers picked July and November to fly probably because of the year-end school holidays.

"There are also customers who have booked for Osaka, Japan and Gold Coast in Australia on our AirAsia X," she said, Thursday.
