Kuala Lumpur: The national women's squash team continued their dazzling performance in the Women's World Team Championship, registering a convincing 2-0 win over New Zealand to book a semi-final berth. World Number One Datuk Nicol David gave Malaysia a perfect start in the quarter-final match, easily defeating New Zealand's Joelle King in three sets 11-5, 11-7 and 11-4 in the tournament held at the La Parnasse Arena glass court in Nimes, France, late Thursday, according to the tournament website, www.squashsite.co.uk. National women's No. 2 Low Wee Wern had to endure a tough fight from Jaclyn Hawkes before securing a 11-3,11-5, 11-13, 11-9 win in the second match.
