Indonesians vote in Tawau

Tawau: A TOTAL of 2,674 Indonesian citizens turned up to cast their votes at the Indonesian Consulate at Jalan Sin Onn, Tawau on Sunday for the Pemilu 2014 - Pilihanraya Umum. Consul Mohammad Soleh said, apart from providing six voting rooms, they also opened three drop boxes at three areas namely Bandar Sri Indah (BSI), Batu 10 Jalan Apas and Kolam Udang Andrassy."The six voting rooms was monitored by 42 Returning Officers appointed by the Indonesian government through Election Commission," he said. According to him, the General Election held on Sunday is to determine 692 Parliamentary seats. The Presidential Election will be held on July 9.
