200 students attend UMS maths camp

KOTA KINABALU: More than 200 secondary school students from the district school here attended a Mathematics Camp to instil passion towards the subject as well as to enhance critical thinking.The camp which was organised by the Science and Natural Resources Faculty, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), was held from Sept 19 to 21.The camp also received support from the Youth and Sports Ministry, District Education office as well as State Youth and Sports Department.ADVERTISEMENT Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

The closing ceremony was done by the Science and Natural Resources Faculty's Dean, Associate professor Dr. Baba Musta who represented the university's Vice Chancellor here, Sunday.Also present during the event was State Youth and Sports Ministry Permanent Secretary, Awang Damit Ag. Anak as well as the camp's Chairman, Dr. Abdullah Bade.
