SugarBun poised for rapid network expansion

KOTA KINABALU: The SugarBun restaurant chain is poised for rapid growth in the State following the appointment of Sibu-based Centuryin Group as its franchise area developer for Sabah."The launching of its flagship outlet in Metro Town in April this year has been quickly followed up with the opening of its first franchisee outlet in Kolombong Giant in July with several more coming onstream," said Centuryin Managing Director Ling Nai Woo, at the grand opening of the MetroTown SugarBun."The first drive-through SugarBun branch is set to open in Putatan by year end while negotiations are in the final stages for outlets in Imago Mall (near Times Square) in the capital, Kota Belud and Keningau. MetroTown SugarBun is open 6.30am till 10.00pm daily with a seating capacity of 80 and has plans to operate round-the-clock in the future.ADVERTISEMENT There are three other separate SugarBun outlets at Jalan Pantai and Tanjung Aru Beachfront, both in Kota Kinabalu and in Lahad Datu, opened prior to Centuryin's entry into the market.
