AirAsia: '2015 Mac Program Promosi AirAsia' a scam

Kuala Lumpur: AirAsia Group Thursday clarified that the '2015 Mac Program Promosi AirAsia' email scheme from 'AirAsia Singapura' is a scam.The email stated that the recipient has been selected as the lucky winner to receive a cash amount of RM130,000 from Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Group Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia."We would like to confirm that this is a scam which uses the AirAsia brand without authorisation, to lure the public to participate in its scheme," the low-cost airline said in a statement.

The company said it would not hesitate to take legal action against individuals or groups who organised illegal schemes using the AirAsia brand.A police report has been lodged with regards to this scam. Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
