She said the programme is jointly managed globally by the Premier League and British Council.

"It was first introduced to Malaysia in 2009 in partnership with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), the Division of Sports, Arts and Co-curriculum, Ministry of Education and Tune Group Sdn Bhd – with face-to-face training conducted by visiting Premier League coaches and referees."
