Top Indo-based courier expands services to Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: Technology based express service company, J&T Express, founded in August 2015 in Indonesia, has expanded its services to Sabah. Its General Manager for Sabah and Labuan Amerly Liew said they started operations on Aug 1 prior to its grand opening at Api-Api Centre here, Monday. The courier service provider currently has 18 outlets across Sabah namely, Tawau, Sandakan, Keningau, Papar, Beaufort, Tenom, Lahad Datu and Kota Kinabalu. ADVERTISEMENT The nature of business covers domestic and international express services, where they vigorously apply advanced IT management facilities to provide customers with high-efficiency and high-quality service in pick-up and delivery services. "This is a company that started in Indonesia in 2015 and within one year they became the top two courier service provider handling over 950,000 parcels daily there," she said. "J&T Express was founded by former Chief Executive Officer of OPPO Indonesia Jet Lee, and International Chief Executive Officer of OPPO, Tony Chen; hence, the name of the company, J&T Express, formed after the initials of our founders," she added. J&T Express has expanded their business to Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines. ADVERTISEMENT With a total of 300 outlets across the nation, J&T Express has expanded their coverage all over Malaysia."We currently have more than 2,000 workers including despatchers, ground staff and administration in nationwide," Liew further explained.

She said what sets their company apart from other courier providers is that they operate every day from 8.30am to 8.30pm including public holidays with available 24 hours call centres."Our delivery efficiency in Peninsular Malaysia is within 24 hours while between East and West of Malaysia is 72 hours with our claim service of three days, that is our promise to our customers," she said. "With the speciality we have, this company can fulfil every customers' need knowing courier services need to be fast and good in order to gain customers' loyalty," she said.
