The theses were presented by the Education and Innovation Ministry Deputy Permanent Secretary Moira David and its Principal Assistant Permanent Secretary Ajijah Talip to Sabah State Library’s Senior Deputy Director Maria Sinti.

Maria said the public will soon be able to access information for higher level education in the library, especially those who are keen to pursue their studies.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the two projects together would add 28MWac of new power generation capacity, helping to stabilise electricity supply in Sabah.
“In the near future, the theses will be placed at the Sabah Administrative Centre and selected library in some districts in the State.

“We will also digitise some of the theses to preserve the materials,” she said.

Meanwhile, Moira said the presentation only included theses from the year 2015 and onwards.

“Previously, these theses were kept by Sabah Public Service Department.

“Since there are too many theses and not enough space, we decided to place some of them in the State Library so people can have access to it.

“Nowadays, we can find everything online. So why not share it for reference purpose for those who need it,” she said.
