M’sia’s vibrant nature main  attraction  for Swedish  tourists
KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia’s vibrant nature with its tropical climate and lush green forests is the main attraction for Swedish travellers to visit the country, said Sweden’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Dag Juhlin Dannfelt.

He said the beautiful islands in Sabah are also frequently visited by Swedish tourists.

“Malaysia has the reputation of being warm and inviting, particularly in the aspect of tourism.

“The people are friendly and the scenery here is a welcoming change for Swedish tourists,” he said during a courtesy call on Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal at Pusat Pentadbiran Negeri Sabah.

Dag Juhlin said the bilateral co-operation between Sweden and Malaysia, especially Sabah, has always been harmonious.

“This relationship will be further solidified and expanded to benefit both countries.

“It won’t touch on certain sectors only but rather all affairs regarding the country and nation’s interests,” he said.
