St John Ambulance donates masks
St John Ambulance personnel handing over the masks to Kabota Health Clinic.
TAWAU: St John Ambulance Tawau contributed 3,000 pieces of hand-made protective masks to front liners in Tawau, Semporna, Kunak and Lahad Datu.

The masks were distributed to Tawau Hospital (900 pieces), Kabota Health Clinic Tawau (700 pieces), Tawau Municipal Council (120 pieces), Tawau Airport (65 pieces), Kunak Hospital (200 pieces), Semporna Hospital (250 pieces), Semporna Health Clinic (200 pieces), Tawau-Semporna check point (65 pieces), Lahad Datu Hospital (450 pieces) as well as volunteers of seven clans in Tawau (50 pieces).

Deputy Area Commander, Nicholas Chin Jye Hiong expressed his gratitude to the Tawau Teochew Association Youth and councillor, Datuk Chin Chee Syn  for contributing the protective mask materials as well as Mok Chuang Kun and Good Foam Enterprise Sdn Bhd for jointly donating sponges to make the protective masks.

He hoped such contribution could support the frontline personnel and defend the medical system in handling the Covid-19 outbreak.
