Advice to start using e-wallet

Kota Kinabalu: The State Government is strongly encouraging all e-wallet players to encourage more business users to start using e-wallet to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to a statement, the government also encourages stall operators in wet markets to also start accepting e-wallet as part of the new normal business lifestyle.

The State Government is taking the steps needed to reduce the spread of  Covid-19 very seriously and among the concern  is the spread of the virus through cash.

The statement stated that going cashless is definitely  the top agenda  of the State Government  because the people will not be exposed to the virus  while in long queue  at the ATMs  as well as the safety of theft.
