Tenom: Tenom Member of Parliament Noorita Sual praised the spirit of cooperation shown by the people here for complying with the Covid-19 Movement Control Order (MCO).
She said residents’ adherence to the government’s directive by staying at home has helped to maintain the green zone situation for Tenom.

“I hope that the people here give their cooperation and support to the government’s effort in fighting against the Covid-19 by staying at home,” she said after handing over food and beverage assistance to frontliners in Tenom and Keningau.
The departments receiving the assistance include the District Office, Tenom Hospital, Keningau Hospital, Tenom Maternal and Child Health Clinic, Kemabong Health Clinic and Tenom Dental Clinic.
“I would like to thank all the front line personnel led by the Tenom District Officer and the Tenom District Disaster Operations Center Committee who worked hard to prevent the spread of the disease,” she said.
Noorita also thanked all front line staff of Keningau Hospital.

The event was also attended by committee members of the Dragon Dance Association and Tenuan Xuan Lions who contributed mineral water.
Noorita also visited three roadblocks in the area: Bamban road block connecting Sipitang-Tenom road, Binai road block, Entabuan-Tenom road and Pulong road block, Keningau-Tenom road.
