Sabah Immigration reopens service counters
Kota Kinabalu: The State Immigration Department has reopened its service counters in accordance to the Government’s decision as announced by the Prime Minister on May 1.

State Immigration Director Datuk Dr Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin, who announced this Wednesday, however, said public members who intend to do any dealing on immigration-related matters would need to make an appointment via http://sto.imi.gov.my/e-temujanji.

“They will also need to comply with the safety and health standard operating procedures like undergoing body temperature check before entering the department, wearing a face mask, observing social distancing and using hand sanitiser,” he said.
He said the re-opening involves the department’s security and passport division (application by walk-in), the visa, pass and permit division, enforcement division, foreign workers division, management and finance division, special unit and the passport counters at all department offices in all Urban Transformation Centres (UTCs) throughout Sabah.
