Kota Kinabalu: A 33-year-old Filipina who used a fake endorsement on her social visit pass, was jailed two months.
Jamdia Ibnu pleaded guilty before High Court Deputy Registrar Dana Arabi Wazani, who sat as a Sessions Court judge, to the charge against her.

Jamdia was found using the fake endorsement on her social visit pass at 11.15pm on Feb 14, this year in the Sipitang area.
The offence under Section 56(1)(aa) of the Immigration Act 1953 carries a jail term of up to five years or a fine of up to RM10,000, or both, on conviction.
The court ordered Jamdia to serve the jail sentence from the date of her arrest.
Meanwhile, 60 people were jailed three months each for entering the State illegally.

Forty-six of them were Filipinos while the rest were Indonesian.
Another five Filipinos and an Indonesian were jailed three months for overstaying in the State.
All the foreigners were ordered to serve their sentences from the dates of their arrests and after serving the sentences, to be referred to the Immigration Department.
Prosecuting Officer Muhd Shafiq Amin from the Immigration Department appeared for the prosecution.
