80pc schools are complying with the SOPs, says Dept
SK St Aloysius students seen going home as they end their school session. Each student was only allowed to  exit the school when their names were called out, as  an effort to comply with social distancing.
PENAMPANG: State Education Director Dr Mistirine Radin said schools must remain consistently alert in complying with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in order to avoid Covid-19 clusters from taking place in schools.She said although most schools had complied with the SOP, some still needed guidance on social distancing.

“I hope the District Education Offices (PPD) will guide these schools, especially in terms of spacing between the desks. Schools should be alert with efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19,” she said after inspecting the reopening of SK St Aloysius for Year One to Four pupils, Wednesday.
