Dead Filipino is Sabah's latest Covid-19 case
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded another Covid-19 case after a Filipino who had died with heart complications was found to be positive, said the Ministry of Health on Friday. The case was recorded in Penampang, data from Sabah health authorities showed.

The 64-year-old man had fever, cough and shortness of breath on July 25 but did not get treatment before collapsing two days later.

The Filipino was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, here, where he was confirmed to have died and subsequent screening found he had had the novel coronavirus.

The man was part of the nation's 12 latest daily cases that consisted of seven local transmissions and five imported cases.
