Kota Kinabalu: Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad has named his new political party Pejuang (Fighter).

Mahathir said on Twitter that the party was formed out of the realisation that corruption "destroys the nation and the Malay people."

"If you want posts and money, join another party. If you want to regain honour and preserve our rights, join our party, join Pejuang," he said.
