Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Social Security Organisation (Socso) paid out a total of RM7,371,828.93 under the Employee Insurance System (EIS) to some 11,680 contributors in the State from January to June this year, said its Director Dr Mohd Ali Hindia (pic).“Sabah Socso received a total of 3,936 applications until June and 3,423 have been processed,” he said during the 2020 Penjana Career Carnival programme at Wisma Perkeso, here, Thursday.
On the “Hiring Incentive” under the Government’s National Economic Recovery Plan (Penjana), Ali said Sabah Socso recorded 246 employers who managed to hire employees and 1,312 individuals who secured jobs.
