Sarawak cops may help during Sabah polls: Huzir

TAWAU: Policemen from Sarawak will be deployed here if the Sabah Police Contingent require assistance in facing the State Election (PRN) which is scheduled to be held next month.     Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director, Commissioner Datuk Huzir Mohamed, said this would be up to the Sabah Contingent if it require assistance, like additional manpower, considering that Sarawak is the closest state.

“(But) if more assistance is needed, personnel from the Peninsula can also come by looking at other elements that maybe required,” he said in a press conference,
