PAPAR: The Warisan-led State Government will proceed with the controversial Papar Dam project costing some RM3 billion without Federal help if it returns to power after the September 26 State election, said caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal (pic).He said it would be carried out as part of development in the district with the money coming from the Warisan-led State government.
“I don’t think we should be depending on the Malaysia 12th and 13th Plan which will make us wait many years until we have to suffer having insufficient water or water woes in Sabah.
