Kota Kinabalu: More than 3,000 residents in Kg Sembulan Tengah and Sembulan Lama are concerned that the area will be taken back by the Government with the lease expiring soon (pic).The residents hope for an immediate solution from the State Government which previously promised to resolve two major issues involving the villages near the city centre.
Their concerns are well-founded because it is understood that 214 lots of land (Town Lease – TL) in Kg Sembulan Tengah have been gazetted for development and the lease for some of the lots involved have also expired or almost over.
