Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran Warisan Head, Rakam Sijim, said Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin’s recent statement shows that the latter has no confidence in the ability of natives to manage the State Government without Federal intervention.

“It is a bit outdated for Bung to be making such statements,” said Rakam slamming the Sabah Umno Chairman’s opinion which seemed to glorify the Federal administration.

“Bung’s statement indicated that he sees the State Government missing out on the development allocation if it is not in line with the Federal and is also seen as violating the spirit of the Sabah – Federal relations,” said Rakam in a statement.
