Kota Kinabalu: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Central Youth Movement Sim Fui (pic) has urged Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sabah committee member George Wong Hsueh Cheng to refrain from making misleading statements pertaining to his party.Sim pointed out that DAP originated from Peninsular Malaysia and, thus, was not a Sabah-based party. He opined that DAP’s struggles were driven by the interests of West Malaysia because the party was based in Peninsula, as in Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) in Pakatan Harapan (PH); Umno, PAS, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), MCA and Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Gerakan) in Perikatan Nasional (PN).
