Senior Citizens Health Club members bid farewell to founder

PENAMPANG: Some one hundred members of Senior Citizens Health Club here bid their last farewell to their first President Stephen Sipaun (pic), 76, on Tuesday.

However, due to the RMCO SOP only about 20 came in person.

Stephen is the younger brother of former state secretary Tan Sri Simon Sipaun and a retiree of RTM as broadcasting director. He is survived by his wife Betty, two children and one grandchild.

According to Club Deputy President Joseph Jominol,  Stephen had always been active in retirement programmes and had many programmes planned for the club but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the programmes had to be postponed.
