Kota Kinabalu: Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) claims the recent Philippines assertions of the so-called Sabah claim stems from the Warisan-led State Government entertaining an attempt by Philippines to seek Spanish courts involvement on the issue. PCS Treasurer General Jeff Lu (pic) said: “If anyone is to be blamed for the bold and renewed claims of Sabah by the Philippines, it is the caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal.
“The reason the Philippines have boldly asserted its claim over Sabah this time is because Shafie entertained and, thus, gave legitimacy to the claim by discussing and negotiating the issue with the Philippine government.”
