Sindumin: Caretaker Education and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob said the e-Kasih system which was first introduced in 2008 as a database for poverty should be reviewed to ensure the assistance reaches the target group.

 He said some recipients are no longer in the poverty level for the past 12 years but their names are still recorded in the list of recipients.  He said this during a dialogue with residents at the Coastal Zone, here.

“I see that there is no sincerity in e-Kasih because those who are truly deserving do not get the proper priority.
