SANDAKAN: Residents at PPR Taman Harmoni here breathed a sigh of relief after sewerage pipes blockages that have plagued the residents here were finally resolved after a specialist contractor was brought in by Pusat Khidmat Rakyat Sandakan last week to fix the problem.Resident Monelizah Mohd Tahir expressed gratitude with to Member of Parliament Vivian Wong for arranging the specialist contractor to settle the blockage.
“Most of the manholes there here have been overflowing for quite sometime. There was previous attempts by the local authority to clear the blocked pipes but the problem persisted,” she said.
